Academy Meals


At Waverley Academy our lunches are provided by Doncaster School Catering. The current cost of a paid meal provided by school is £2.00 per day, which should be paid online via ParentPay (See information below) or via Paypoint at a local convenience store.

Please ask at the school office for more details. Alternatively you may provide your child with their own healthy packed lunch. In either case your child is encouraged to stick to their preferred option for a full half term.

Parents who would like their children to have a packed lunch at dinnertime should provide a healthy lunch that does not include crisps, chocolate, sweets  or fruit juice. A drink of water is available for all children at lunchtime and throughout the day.

For catering purposes any changes from school dinner to packed lunch or packed lunch to school dinner should be made at the office with ½ term notice as food is ordered by the cook ½ termly

ParentPay

In the interest of security, and to improve our ways of working, we are introducing ParentPay online. As most of you will know by now, from September, we are going ‘cash and cheque less’ for dinner money payments only. Those of you who will have children in years 3, 4, 5 and 6 will already have received information and a ‘password letter’ from the school office, which explains how to set up your secure online account. Those of you wishing to pay via PayPoint should contact the school office. At the end of this school year any balances will be carried forward and you will see these on your account once you have logged in and activated it.

We will gradually be introducing online payments for all events in school including trips and breakfast club.
